As I shut my eyes and fall asleep

You left this world which isn’t true.
You’re always close to our hearts.
Ask god “why is your wish to keep us apart”
It’s been years and years.
Still when I think of you my eyes would tear.
Every April is the month I would hate.
As it reminds the day we lost our soul mate.
